Indonesia

Indonesia is one of my favorite destinations, the one that left me speechless during my trip to Southeast Asia, not only for its famous island of Bali, but also for all the richness of the landscapes it has to offer. Java for its volcanoes, Sumatra for its flora and fauna, and Raja Ampat for its marine life and crystal-clear waters...

If you would like to plan your stay in Indonesia, whether in one of these places or a road trip to several of these destinations, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sumatra

Sumatra has a wild jungle where it is possible to see the last orangutans in the wild but also other types of monkeys, toucans, etc. The departure is from the village of Bukit Lawang, there are several trekking ranging from 1 to 10 days, but I particularly recommend you to do 3 days and take advantage of the remaining days to do all kinds of activities in the city.

Java

To experience Komodo dragons, the world's largest lizard, in their natural habitat, you'll fly to Flores Island and sail to Rinca Island, part of Komodo National Park, passing beautiful pink sand beaches and other highlights on organized cruises.

Bali

Beyond the ocean and beaches, Bali has other attractions: stunning temples, caves to explore, waterfalls to swim in, and beautiful rice paddies. If you're curious about the island's history and culture, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about local legends and Balinese customs in places like Ubud. You can also stay in Uluwatu or Canggu, or head to less touristy towns like Munduk and Amed.

Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan

Swim with manta rays at Manta Point, admire the cliffs of Kelingking Beach and the various postcard-worthy viewpoints in Nusa Penida or visit the mangroves of Nusa Lembongan.

Gili Islands

Just off Bali, you'll find the Gili Islands, Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. A little further off the coast, you can get out your mask and fins and swim with turtles. Gili Trawangan is the most popular and also the most touristy. You'll find plenty of beach clubs there and its nightlife is very lively. Gili Meno is the one we found the least lively and most authentic. It's ideal for relaxing. Gili Air, in my opinion, is a mix of the two! It's lively without being crowded.

Komodo

To experience Komodo dragons, the world's largest lizard, in their natural habitat, you'll fly to Flores Island and sail to Rinca Island, part of Komodo National Park, passing beautiful pink sand beaches and other highlights on organized cruises.

Raja Ampat

According to a report by The Nature Conservancy and Conservation International, approximately 75% of the world's marine species live here! If, like us, this destination is your dream destination, and you'd like to discover Kri Island or Piaynemo, don't hesitate to contact me to organize your trip. It's essential to have a clear budget for your travels and to plan your stay well in advance. We slept in stilt houses, and nothing beats waking up in the "last paradise on earth," the second name for Raja Ampat.
