Ljubljana

The Slovenian capital is a city on a human scale, pleasant to explore on foot. Its historic center, dominated by the hilltop Ljubljana Castle, is crossed by the Ljubljanica River, lined with cafés and iconic bridges. Local markets, lively squares like Prešeren, and numerous cultural festivals give the city a particular dynamism. Ljubljana blends medieval, baroque, and modern architecture, with a thriving art and gastronomy scene, ideal for discovering Slovenia through its capital.

Just an hour from Ljubljana, Lake Bled is a must-see. This lake, surrounded by mountains, is home to a small island with a picturesque church accessible by traditional rowboat. Bled Castle, perched on a cliff, offers panoramic views of the lake and the Alps. Trails around the lake allow for walking and cycling, and the region also offers activities such as kayaking, paragliding, and discovering local specialties like the famous Bled cream.

Parc national du Triglav

Located in the Julian Alps, Triglav National Park is the natural heart of Slovenia. It offers spectacular alpine scenery with peaks, valleys, rivers, and forests. Mount Triglav, the country's iconic peak, attracts hikers and nature lovers. The park is also a playground for winter sports, hiking, rafting, and mountain biking.

Grottes de Škocjan et Postojna

These karst caves are among the most impressive in Europe. The Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, boast spectacular formations and a unique underground river. Postojna is famous for its vast cave system, accessible by underground train, and for being home to the proteus, a rare species of salamander. These tours are a must-do to discover another natural side of Slovenia.
